I've been a loyal customer of this spa for more than a year now. My girl is Kathy...The best there is! (though I love everybody who work there) She is the one I trust her for my BW,facial & mani-pedi...She always makes my day everytime I go there. I let her choose the best nail polish for me and I always get compliments on colors she puts on my nails. Aahh I love her =)

And if I need to do something that concerns my hair...its only my girl Danielle who can do it...I go to this spa/salon 2-3x/ month...

I went to Confidence Day Spa for a brazilian wax, mani and pedi on which they have an everyday special of $50! Excellent price for the service. My technician was Larisa and she could not have been nicer or more professional. She made a very uncomfortable situation (the bw) very comfortable. And the mani and pedi spot on. I will definitely go back and will absolutely use Larisa as my technician. Great, clean day spa.

I took my girlfriends here for a Spa Day, and it was wonderful! Marilin was so helpful, we had fruit and drinks and she really pulled through by going to pick it up for us! Our stylists were great, everyone was thrilled with their hair cuts!! We also got pedicures and massages and they were so relaxing! Overall, I was VERY happy with Confidence's skills and accomdations. We had 7 girls in our party, so we were there most of the day-they supplied us with robes and a nice atmosphere to spend the day in! Thanks again!!

My first treatment at Confidence was a Brazilian Wax. In my private room, I laid on my back atop a massage table with a towel across my stomach. My Waxing Specialist treated the sensitive area with light oil to get started and prevent irritation. She swiftly pulled large strips, starting with the top and working her way to my inner thighs. Each time she removed a strip, she immediately added a soothing moisturizer to prevent any sort of irritation. Though surely an intimate procedure, the specialist worked quickly without giving me any time to suffer embarrassment or pain. The swift specialist completed the entire procedure in no more than ten minutes and I was on to the next treatment, Facial Rejuvenation.

Before we began, my esthetician handed me a very concise questionnaire to gage my skin type, sensitivities, allergies and desired effects of my facial. There was even a section for the type of massage I prefer (and would receive at one point during the luxurious 100 minute treatment). Before we started, my esthetician explained that the Facial Rejuvenation includes acupuncture to the face and various points along the body. Very rarely, the needles may leave behind slight bruising, but she assured me it is virtually painless and the benefits are well worth any sort of discomfort.

The esthetician has over ten years of experience in both aesthetic treatment and acupuncture, so, in confident and skilled hands, we got to work. She asked me if I had problems with stress, sleeping, constipation or wrinkles. After we discussed my issues (primarily trouble sleeping), she determined the best areas for my acupuncture points and even showed me a few pressure points I could access at any time by applying pressure.

My esthetician began the treatment by applying a hydrating gel cleanser to my skin as I relaxed, enjoying the lighting and music. Once I was free of makeup and residue from the outside world, she toned my skin and began seeking out the points where needle pressure would help me most. Before proceeding, she showed me the thin, small needles, giving me a sense of the size before inserting them. She began with my face, gently sliding the needles underneath my skin at the top of my smile lines and forehead. The pain was minimal but the needles did require me to hold still. She worked her way down, inserting needles into my hands at the space between my thumb and pointer.

Finally, she finished at my feet, inserting needles on the inner sides. And, although these were sensitive areas, I experienced very little pain. Informing me that the needles would have to stay in place for 20 to 30 minutes for maximum benefit, my esthetician offered to stay with me in case I was uneasy, but I was able to relax easily, feeling more and more relaxed with each deep breath. At the end of the 30-minute relaxation period, I was so relaxed, in fact, that I could not actually feel the needles under my skin and was able to fall into a deep sleep.

When I awoke, my esthetician had returned and removed the needles without causing any discomfort. I was then treated to an exfoliating mask with fruit acids, designed to remove dead skin from the face, neck and chest. Once the mask was wiped away, she showed me the dead skin that had been effortlessly removed. She then applied a hydrating mask to my face and wrapped it in gauze so the treatment would not dry out.

As I relaxed, she massaged my neck, shoulders, arms and hands in a lymphatic massage and then left me alone for another few relaxing minutes. When she returned wiped down the hydrating mask, my moisturized skin was glowing. Confidence recommends 10-12 sessions for the fullest effects, but I noticed an improvement in my skin, attitude and energy level with just one. This treatment has also been proven effective in patients suffering from chronic arthritis and to help improve function of the internal organs.

For the finale of my trip to Confidence, I indulged in a new hairstyle in the front of the sunlit salon. The stylist sat me down in a plush orange chair at the hair-washing station and discussed my preferences, focusing on my bangs and desired summer style. She washed and conditioned my hair with Dead Sea Cream Shampoo and Conditioner (available for purchase at Confidence), and moved me to her station. She started by refreshing my ends, showing me the length that was being removed to make sure I was happy with it. Very diligently, she worked through my layers and finished my bangs last. I lost track of time thanks to the small flat screen television panel at her station. Once she was satisfied with my cut, she asked how I would like my hair styled that day and got to blow-drying it full of volume. When finished, my hair had a seemingly natural bounce to it. The cut itself was precise and just what I'd requested.

A girl could easily spend an entire day at Confidence Beauty Salon and Spa. Along with their vast menu of services and specialized offerings, Confidence's reasonable prices make it even more appealing. I left the salon and spa more than happy, totally relaxed and significantly more confident than when I entered.
